EMPLOYEES OF JSC "ADMIRALTY SHIPYARDS" WERE AWARDED WITH RF STATE DECORATIONS

The employees of JSC "Admiralty Shipyards" were awarded the Order of Honor, medals of the Order of Merit for Fatherland, II degree, as well as Certificates of Honor and Gratitude from the President of the Russian Federation.

The Governor of Saint-Petersburg, Alexander Beglov presented the awards to the Admiralty employees at a ceremony in Smolny.

For high achievements in his work as a result of the annual performance, one representative of the oldest shipbuilding enterprise in Saint -Petersburg and Russia received the Order of Honor from the hands of the head of the city. Also a result of the annual performance and for fulfilling the state defense order, two admiralty employees were awarded medals of Order of Merit for the Fatherland, II degree. For fulfilment of a state defense order one employee was awarded a Certificate of Honor from the President of the Russian Federation.

Also was noted the great contribution of the Admiralty Shipyards to creation of unique scientific research vessel of ice-resistant self-propelled platform “North Pole”. The governor presented two admiralty employees, including the general director of the enterprise, Andrei Veselov, with Certificates of Honor from the President of the Russian Federation, and six more were awarded Letters of Gratitude.

The governor congratulated the company’s staff on behalf of Vladimir Putin and himself personally for their contribution to development of Russian industry, and wished them further success in their hard work.

Employees of JSC "Admiralty Shipyards" are annually awarded with state and departmental awards for their participation in construction of unique ships and vessels.

JSC "Admiralty Shipyards", which celebrated its 319th anniversary on November 5th of current year, is rightfully considered to be one of the leaders of domestic shipbuilding, the center of conventional submarine shipbuilding in Russia. For more than three centuries, almost 3000 ships and vessels of various types and classes left the slipways of the enterprise. The main activities of JSC "Admiralty Shipyards" are designing, construction and modernization of underwater and surface ships, vessels and deep-sea vehicles.
