ADMIRALTY SHIPYARDS ARE WINNERS OF COMPETITION "HEALTHY WORKING ENVIRONMENT"

The Admiralty Shipyards took the first place in the competition of the North-West Federal District for corporate programs aimed at improving employees’ health named "Healthy Working Environment - 2023".

The award ceremony took place in the City Centre for Public Health and Medical Prevention Treatment. The competition was organized by the state public institution "City Centre for Public Health and Medical Prevention Treatment" of Saint Petersburg and by the state public institution "Centre for Public Health and Medical Prevention Treatment" of Leningrad region. The competition was supported by the Health Committees of Saint Petersburg and Leningrad Region. 20 participants from different cities of Russia reached the voting stage.

The oldest shipbuilding enterprise of Saint Petersburg and of the country – JSC "Admiralty Shipyards" – presented for the jury's consideration a corporate program of health promotion and maintenance. Its goal is to maintain the quality of life at work, increase the proportion of employees committed to a healthy lifestyle, through motivation and creating the necessary conditions. The program developed at the Shipyards includes occupational safety measures, medical care in its own medical center, a sports club, organization of active recreation for employees and members of their families, as well as promotion of a healthy lifestyle.

"This award is the best confirmation that we set priorities correctly and care about the staff of our enterprise" said Andrey Veselov, General Director of the Admiralty Shipyards. "Of course, the main asset of the plant is its employees. Their dedicated work, deep knowledge and rich experience allows the Shipyards to build unique ships and vessels. And the task of the enterprise management is to create all the conditions for comfortable and safe work, provide opportunities for physical training and sports, and ensure qualified medical care".
