ADMIRALTY SHIPYARDS ARE THE WINNERS OF INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP OF HI-TECH PROFESSIONAL SKILLS

The employees of the Admiralty Shipyards took the first prize in the X International Championship of High-Tech Professions in competence “Lean Manufacturing”.

The largest professional skills competition in Russia was held in Yekaterinburg from November 13 to 17. About 1,000 competitors and experts from 25 Russian companies, as well as 10 countries of EAEU, BRICS and ASEAN performed in 35 competencies.

As part of the tasks, the employees of JSC "Admiralty Shipyards" analyzed the production process, calculated an economic model, described current losses and problems, and proposed effective production system tools, which should be implemented to achieve the target indicators.

“Our team’s victory in International Championship of Professional Excellence is the result of the accumulated experience and great work of management specialists in development of the production system,” noted Andrey Veselov, General Director of JSC "Admiralty Shipyards". – In recent years the company has been actively implementing a lean production system and the production system mechanisms, aimed at reducing order fulfillment times, improving product quality, labor safety, reducing costs and improving production culture.

Young specialists from the Admiralty Shipyards annually successfully take part in various competitions and projects, such as: “Engineer of the Future”; "Young shipbuilder-engineer"; “Innovation of the Young”, as well as in the Championship of Professional Excellence among groups of companies of JSC “USC”.
