Commercial shipbuilding section of the engineering center of FSUE “Admiralty Shipyards”

Commercial shipbuilding section, as part of the Engineering Center , have participated in design of all the commercial vessels that have been recently built at the “Admiralty Shipyards”.

This commercial section have developed a complete working design of an Arctic tanker of about 20 000 DWT for “LukOil-Arctic-Tanker” company (20070 Project) according to which a series of three tankers has been built.

At customer's desire the section have revised this design in accordance with changes of the international legislation. According to the new design, which has been assigned number 20071, two more vessels have been built.

Now “Admiralty Shipyards” are building a series of tankers-product carriers of about 47 000 DWT for “Sovcomflot” company according to 05-55 Project which has been purchased in Croatia and revised by the commercial section to a significant degree.

In addition to this, the commercial shipbuilding section have developed a number of prospective designs of vessels for different customers.

Designers of the section use in their work modern information technologies, Tribon CAD system version M3 in particular.
