MACHINE-BUILDING WORKSHOPS

Production shops are equipped with a wide range of metal-working machinery of various types and sizes.

The production is aimed at articles for commercial vessels (tankers) and submarines.

Many parts of shafting, rudder blades, flanges, plugs, spigots, hatches and covers of cargo tanks, knights, rollers, hooks, eye rings, chains, eyebolts, portholes, filters, separators, mooring gear, bossing, steering gear, jacking gear, brake arrangement, and etc. are manufactured for surface vessels. Besides, small-sized fittings are produced for vessels, e.g., various fasteners of different steel grades and alloys, small-sized subassemblies: turnbuckles, snatch blocks, coolers, screwed fitting couplings and many others.

The production shops manufacture such items as: mooring arrangements, steering gears, buoys, pins, hydraulic rams for mast-lifting gears.

Various fittings are also a significant group of production, including items made of titanium alloy, as follows: shaft line, air clutch, centralized lubrication system, vent valves, sea inlets, covers of exhaust gas ducts, stern tube arrangements, etc.
